"Thou Seemst Like a Deity", 2009 - Encaustic Mixed Media Collage, 30 x 24
Beecause, is a great cause and event to support. Beecause cares about the arts and about saving the honeybees. Artists from across Canada are invited to submit artwork for a juried exhibition and auction. All submitted artwork must be inspired by Honey, in all its forms. From beeswax to honeycombs, and queen bees to killer bees, anything to related to Honey is encouraged. Any media is acceptable from photography, to painting, drawing to sculpture and mixed media.
The funds raised will go to support the Arts Project, London, Ontario's arts incubator, and the Canadian Bee Research Fund, a Canadian research initiative focused on the disappearance of honeybees.
