The encaustic medium is magical, vibrant and translucent.  My creative muse guides, inspires and feeds my soul through this medium, mixed media and collage.  Blessing me with endless moments of creative joy and harmony...providing those ahhaa moments about life.  Join me on this creative journey, spend some time reading my musings about this life, the blessed other souls that come into contact with mine, however brief or often, that can leave everlasting imprints on our journey....perhaps our lives might share some similarities, bringing us closer and more connected...and less isolated.

"I suppose there is one friend in the life of each of us who seems not a separate person, however dear and beloved, but an expansion, an interpretation, of one's self, the very meaning of one's soul." ~ Edith Wharton

Here's to finding those expansive moments.....

I Took This Vow - Will You too!

Deepak Chopra is the President and Founder of the Alliance for a New Humanity and on November 7, 2008, at 9:45 a.m, the 500 people attending the Alliance for a New Humanity Human Forum in Barcelona took a vow for non-violence in their thoughts, speech and actions.  Each person decided to ask other people in their lives to join them in taking the vow.  The goal then became to create a global movement, which would mobilize 100 million people to make the same commitment.

Think of what this would mean regarding "transformation", peace and compassion for self and others...if we all took this commitment and asked others to take it too and to gently remind each other when we stray from this commitment.  I took this vow and hope you will consider it too.   Here is to a new humanity of compassion, kindness, love and peace.

Help spread the word, Take the Vow.

I am (and have been for as long as I can remember) a pacifist...non-violence and peace are at my core. So I not only take the vow but am continuing to live it. YAY!
Peace & Love,
