The encaustic medium is magical, vibrant and translucent.  My creative muse guides, inspires and feeds my soul through this medium, mixed media and collage.  Blessing me with endless moments of creative joy and harmony...providing those ahhaa moments about life.  Join me on this creative journey, spend some time reading my musings about this life, the blessed other souls that come into contact with mine, however brief or often, that can leave everlasting imprints on our journey....perhaps our lives might share some similarities, bringing us closer and more connected...and less isolated.

"I suppose there is one friend in the life of each of us who seems not a separate person, however dear and beloved, but an expansion, an interpretation, of one's self, the very meaning of one's soul." ~ Edith Wharton

Here's to finding those expansive moments.....

Seth Apter's New Book:  The Mixed - Media Artist, Art Tips, Tricks, Secrets and Dreams From Over 40 Amazing Artists

I am so honoured to be part of Seth Apter's New Book, coming out the end of October....He has posted about our connection on his blog site today, and for every comment left here on my blog site and his, a possibility of a giveaway could be in your cards....I will post the winner's name on my blogsite November for those comments received during the month of October.

I first met Seth Apter online in search of altered book artists....and he and I became online friends...We soon ventured on an altered book, round robin project which included 6 artists, the project was called the INNER WORKS.  The artists part of this project were, Seth Apter, Veronica Funk, Roxanne Evans Stout, Rita Vindedzis and Jill Zaheer....For more information on these artists visit here.

Seth is a man of vision, passion and deep authenticity.  His work is full of soulful layers, colour, texture and imaginative mixed media detail.  I look forward to the day we will finally meet in person...my visit to NYC is on the horizon and I will be sure to visit if you are in the city.....see you soon Seth and thank you for choosing my work to be included in your wonderful book.  Can't wait to have mine arrive in my mailbox.

Thrilled to have met you through Seth's 30day/30artist event. I posted a comment on Seth's blog that said, "I've packed my bags and I'm moving into one of her paintings."
Your work is beautiful, inspiring and and makes me deep sigh when I look at it. Then I ask, "how did she do that?" Well, keep doing it because I love it.
Thanks for a chance to win hte book!
