The encaustic medium is magical, vibrant and translucent.  My creative muse guides, inspires and feeds my soul through this medium, mixed media and collage.  Blessing me with endless moments of creative joy and harmony...providing those ahhaa moments about life.  Join me on this creative journey, spend some time reading my musings about this life, the blessed other souls that come into contact with mine, however brief or often, that can leave everlasting imprints on our journey....perhaps our lives might share some similarities, bringing us closer and more connected...and less isolated.

"I suppose there is one friend in the life of each of us who seems not a separate person, however dear and beloved, but an expansion, an interpretation, of one's self, the very meaning of one's soul." ~ Edith Wharton

Here's to finding those expansive moments.....

Winter Solstice Magic...Creativity Unfolds and the beckoning of the warmth and light brings on wonderous moments

Native flute music and art on the roof tops!

Fire dancers, working their magic with fire....

Sun goddesses...beckoning the sun to return for longer periods...basking us in warmth and delight...

The Lovely Jane and Desmond....

The Caribou greeting local Torontonians in the streetcar trying to get home or places to go....

The lovely Maya...whom I am so blessed to have in my life...

Us and our lanterns..I am behind the camera... : )

These beautiful lanterns were made by us, and the making of it was guided by my friend Jane....they were so wonderful to make and easy to do....
Thanks Jane for your creativity and sharing....

The Solstice Festival helped release a creativity block I have been having..it was so wonderful to dance with the crowds, join the parade through Kensington Market, bask in the glow of the fire dancers, the burning of the solstice alter, beckoning the light to return for longer as each day passes.

Kensington market has an allure which calls us back often, enjoyed cheese, chocolate and gourmet hot chocolate blended by the motion of a bike....

The many wonderful costumes, jazz music band and the great company of Jane, Desmond and Maya...it all brought about a magical nite which helped bring wonderful visions for creativity.....
