Random Act of Colour - A little giddy fairy visited and left me a bundle of joy!

I received a "Random Act of Colour" at my studio door yesterday...all wrapped up in this lovely fun, playful, giddy with Spring fever feel to it, wrapping...the comics from the paper...The sun was shining yesterday, the air was spring like and the day was great..and turned even better when I arrived home in the afternoon to find this lovely little bundle of joy, left behind by a playful fairy or pixie friend....I instantly wanted to open it...looked everywhere for a name...who could have left me this lovely package waiting, inviting me to open up and laugh, giggle and feel warm all over...as if receiving a hug...No Name was to be found..just the inscription "A Random Act of Colour ~ Let your inner hippie shine".....What lay inside were two lovely books, one by Louise L. Hay on " Colors and Numbers" and the other an Altered Book Guide....what joy...and I had to guess who delivered this joy...I soon found out that it was my wise and loving friend Jill Davey....She is a wonderful person who shows up to live fully and lives by leading by example....and I feel I have already learnt so much from her in the short time I have spent with her...THANKS my guru friend....Check out her lovely website..to learn more about who she is in the world...

Supria, What a touching story of surprise, thoughfulness and generosity. And as you were receiving this beautiful package filled with "random act of color" on thursday from your friend Jill, on the same day, this Jill had the wonderful opportunity to visit a library which has a cellar overflowing with used books. Although I just had a few minutes to browse, the book I left with was called, The Book of Color, a novel by Julia Blackburn. It's so true how you really can't judge a book by it's cover or title. As I read what the book was about, it was actually referring to "color" as racial color. But, as I was drawn to the book by it's title, with the thought of the "rainbow" definition of color, I bought it anyway and will see what it's about!
